Split into two teams, the actors and the audience. The audience’s job is to think of a word that the actors will have to act out. The audience must speak quietly to ensure the actors can’t hear the word! The audience must also think of a clue word that rhymes with their chosen word. For example, if the real word was ‘cat’, the audience might give ‘mat’ as the clue word.
The audience reveal the clue word and the actors must then try and act out what they think the real word is. With the example above, they might act out a ‘bat’ as that also rhymes with ‘mat’. The audience can say, “No, it’s not a bat!”
If the actors get the right answer within three guesses, then they score a point. But if the actors take more than three guesses to guess the word, then the audience score a point. Swap roles after each round –– the team with the most points wins!
