This activity is a fun way to improve your kids’ short-term memory –– not to mention your own! Kids will need to use their observational skills to pick out items around them and see how well they can recall them once they’re out of sight. Good luck!

Top tip!
Struggling to think of ten items? Make this a group activity where everyone decides on the ten items together, working as a team to recall them.
About the activity
Each player should face the same direction and try to pick out ten items they can see in front of them –– the players should try their best to remember them.
Players should turn away from the objects they were facing and try to recall the ten items they could see, writing them down on a piece of paper. Turn back around and give players a point for every item they correctly remembered. To play again, turn to face a different direction!
