About the activity
This activity is super easy to organise and requires minimal preparation and equipment. Simply write a list of 2D and 3D shapes for the kids to find in the world around them. Depending on the age and abilities of those taking part, you may wish to draw the shapes, instead.
The game can be played pretty much anywhere – in the house, garden, local area, a park, or even on a car or train journey! Ask the kids to note down the objects and items they spot next to the corresponding shape. Will they be able to complete the list?
