Fire up kids’ imaginations with a creature-creating activity that engages skills of invention, story-telling, description and socialising.
Fun fact! The LEGO mini figure was first introduced in 1978. The early figures before this, in 1975, had no facial features, gender, arms or moveable legs.
About the activity
Using just six bricks, create a simple creature.
Now describe this creature. What noise does it make? Does it have a name? How does it move? Does it have magic powers? What does it eat?
If you’re playing with a friend, ask each other questions about your creatures. Can you invent a story based around these different characters? How do they know each other? What is their relationship like? Where do they live?
