There are so many ways to hula hoop and lots of tricks to try. Get your child/children to have fun experimenting with ideas. Can they spin the hoop around their arm, leg or waist and keep it going? Can they move the hoop up and down their body as it spins? You can also create different hula hoop games with your child/children. Draw a loopy chalk line along the ground and see if they can roll the hoop along it. Or get everyone to take part in hilarious hula hoop race!
