About the activity
Plan the show. Look at theatre, films or books you love for inspiration. You could re-enact the stories or create exciting new adventures for their characters. You can decide whether to write a script or to improvise with a rough storyline to guide you. If you are putting on a solo show, perhaps see if you can memorise your favourite piece of written work and act it out to an audience. Rehearse the show, ready to impress your audience. Don’t forget to think about how you’re going to introduce it! Finally, invite family members or friends to come and watch the show, giving them a seat directly in front of your makeshift stage.
