This game is based on rolling dice and solving simple addition sums.
If using just one dice (for little ones, this will likely be enough) the “golden number” is 10. When the dice is rolled, the kids must shout out the number needed to make the sum of 10. For example, if a 6 is rolled the players must shout “4!”, if a 3 is rolled the players must shout “7!”, etc.
You can play the game whereby the player who roles the dice must work out the answer. Alternatively, for a competitive game, players can race to solve the sum! Whoever is the first to shout out the correct answer roles the dice on the next go.
