Empty egg box (a 12-egg carton will work best)
Two counters
Pen or pencil
A piece of paper or a notepad to keep the score
Number the bottom of each space in the egg box from one to twelve. Then place two counters inside and close the box.
Players should sit themselves in a circle. The first player takes the egg box, shakes it for a few seconds then opens it up. They must then add together the two numbers where the counters have settled to find out their score for that round. Once they’ve calculated and recorded their score, they pass the box to the player next to them.
The box is passed around the circle in this way, with players adding up their scores and accumulating points each round. The winner is the first player to reach 100 – or whichever target number you wish to set!
