About the activity
In an open outdoor space, get your kids to have a go at skipping. Encourage them to try different kinds of jumps and set themselves different challenges. Can they complete ten complete skips in a row? Can they skip on one leg? Can they move forwards and backwards while they skip? They could also play jumping games with their friends using a long rope –– a great social game and one that all ages can enjoy! Can they master their skipping skills?
