About the activity
The aim of the game is simple – work together to tell an exciting story!
Depending on how many players there are, get the kids to sit in a circle – or plan an order so they know when their turn is coming. Choose one player to start the game by telling the beginning of a story….
Each player has one minute to tell their part of the tale. Once their time is up, the next player continues from where they left off.
The story can come to an end on the last player’s turn or, alternatively, set a timeframe (e.g. five minutes) – players continue to take turns until the time is up. The longer the story/timeframe, the more creative they’ll have to be!
Encourage the kids to be as imaginative as possible with their stories. What different characters will they include? Is it set in some mysterious place? Will there be any unexpected twists? This fun, creative game is sure to cause plenty of giggles!
